Presentation format*
Abstract Components:

1. Background information of your project
2. Evidence used to identify the need
3. Improvement aims or goal
4. Methods, programs, or practices description
5. Outcomes and data description
6. Conclusion

Requirements:
1. All abstracts must include one to five referenced (APA style) pieces of evidence within the past ten (10) years.
2. Abstracts should contain original work.
3. Work that is in progress can also be submitted, include expected outcomes. Preference is given to completed work.
Presentation:

Selected abstracts will be presented in one of two ways:
1. Podium Presentation: An allotted 20-minute time slot (15-minute presentation with 5 minutes for questions)
2. Poster Presentation: Posters will be displayed during the Symposium, with dedicated poster sessions schedule.
To support professional development, the conference planning committee will have conference "coaches" available to assist staff nurses with accepted abstractions with their presentation preparation.

1. Authors will be notified about their submission status via email no later than___
2. All poster and podium presenters will be required to complete a Conflict-of-Interest form as part of the continuing education requirements.
3. All presenters must be registered for the conference to present and are responsible for their own registration expenses; registration information to follow.
Materials:
- For podium presentations: a laptop and projector/screen will be provided.
- For poster presentations:
  Posters may be printed on presenters’ choice of medium.
  Posters must be oriented in landscape format, no larger than 48W X 36H.
  Bring all materials necessary to display the poster.
  Tables are provided for trifold boards. Please notify the planning committee if the poster is an easle trifold setup.
